GRATITUDE & THANKSGIVING

Gratitude should never be expressed on certain days, but every day – equally.  It’s the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and our creator.  Expressing thanks for our life, our world and all those within it. On this day, I am grateful for an abundance of things.  I honestly don’t know where to begin.

I suppose I would have to start by rightfully thanking he who keeps me moving and understanding that all of the turbulence in my life is for good purpose and reason – MY GOD.  For as the saying goes:  If I have enjoyed the hospitality of the Host of this universe, who daily spreads a table in my sight, surely I cannot do less than acknowledge my dependence.”  Thank you so much for what I give, not what I take and for all the lessons I learn on my journeys, not just the victories.

Next would be giving thanks to my body, mind and spirit for NEVER giving up on me.  They all fight unimaginable demons every day and as painful as they are – never back down.  They keep me creative and dreaming of what could be and I will tell you that sometimes, if you don’t have a purpose, you will surely die.

My truly incredible friends:  Life would never be as magical without you all in it.  I am so blessed and honored to be any part of your lives.  You keep me smiling and grounded – always.  I could never have been all the things I have been, or had the courage to try all the things I was afraid to; without you.  You are all the keeper of my dreams.  Thank God for you!

To my family:  How could words ever come close to expressing how grateful I am to be a part of you?  It would be utterly impossible.  I am so humbled to be a part of such a growing bunch of wicked human beings.  You help heal me, every day.  Without you, I cannot breath.  You show me such incredible loyalty and love, year after year, without fail.  I’m just a lucky girl to be a part of you all. You are all my sunshine!!

I would like to give special thanks today for all those people in my life (past, present and still to come) that were mean, judgmental and downright terrible to me.  For you are the reason I continue to strive for the absolute best “ME” that I can be.  You are the reason I love, am kind and respectful of all people, places and things.  So from the bottom of my heart, thank you!  Thank you for speaking ill of me, both to and behind my back, for pretending to have my best intentions – when you were only serving yourself.  It has made me strong and all that I am.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL!
